Eugene “Gene” Joseph Roberts, III passed away peacefully at his residence on 
Friday November 20, 2015 at age 57. 

He was a native of Metairie La. and a resident of Slidell for 8 years. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Joyce Lynn and Eugene Joseph Roberts, Jr. 
Beloved brother of Donna Lynn, Virgil Donald (Karen), Rhonda Lynn and Stacey 
Lynn (Barry). Uncle of Barrett, Brett, Jennifer (Rhett), Erica (Gerald), Kay 
Lynn (Michael) and Brianna. Loving and proud great uncle of Jordyn and Conner. 

His passion was cooking and serving restaurant patrons until his disability 
would not allow him to be in the kitchen any longer. 
A gentle man who was loved by all whom knew him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at St. 
Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy.433 Slidell, La. 70460 on Wednesday, 
December 2, 2015 from 9:00am until the funeral Mass at 11:00am. 

Interment will follow in St. Roch II Cemetery in New Orleans. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 501 St. 
Jude Place Memphis, TN.
