RUTH REBECCA GARRETT STRAIN, age 92 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
Monday, November 16, 2015.

Beloved Wife of the late Lloyd J. Strain, Sr. .
Mother of L. J. Strain, Jr. and the late Ruth S. Dubuisson.
Mother-in-law of Marguerite Strain and Paul J. Dubuisson.

Sister of Catherine Walker, the late Neville Garrett, Inez Broom, Max Garrett, 
Hoover Garrett and J. Birney Garrett.
Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Diana D. Morgan, Karen J. Dubuisson (Fred 
Epperson), James T. Strain (Bridgette) and Brian C. Strain (Michelle),
11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A native of Sandy Hook, MS and a resident of Slidell since she was an infant.

She was a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross and Slidell Guest House. 
She was a member of many organizations of the First United Methodist Church.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell.

Donations to the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross, 
preferred, in lieu of flowers
