Ronald August Welty Sr, passed away on Saturday November 7, 2015 at the age of 
84. 

He was born in New Orleans on August 21, 1931 to the late John C Welty, Sr and 
Alma Wagner Welty. 

Ronald is survived by his wife of 60 years Virginia Silvestri Welty, son Ronald 
Jr., granddaughter Katie Harper, grandson Sam Welty and great grandson Jullian 
Harper. Brother of Douglas E. and the late John Jr and Howard P Welty. 

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Ronald established Ronald 
Welty Heating and Air Conditioning in 1968 which continues in its 47th year. 
Ronald was a very caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family and 

friends. He enjoyed sharing his mechanical and construction knowledge with 
family and friends. He also enjoyed photography, fishing, and carnival balls.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 28088 Main 
Street, Lacombe LA on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 11:00am.
Friends may visit at the Church on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in St. Roch Cemetery #1 in New Orleans.
