Damon is survived by his wife, Jennifer Tran Williams, son, Riley Williams, mother Dee Dee H. Mullins and father Timothy L. Mullins, sister Desiree Murray and husband Tony, sister Heather Alder and fiance’ Adam Cutrer, brother Steven Mullins and wife Kristin, sister Sabrina Mayo and husband Jon, brother Duane Williams and wife Lea, and various nieces and nephews and many other loving family members. Damon was 37 years old and was serving actively as an E6 Petty Officer First Class in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Nimitz and most recently on the flight deck as a plane director on the USS Enterprise. Damon served 5 deployments to the Persian Gulf including one tour on the ground in Iraq. Damon loved serving his country and spending time with his friends. He also loved riding motorcycles, traveling abroad, the outdoors, playing poker, and his dog Cali. He never met a stranger and he lived life to the fullest extent possible after being diagnosed with cancer in early 2013. Damon’s courage to fight this awful disease was an inspiration to us all and when he passed, his heart was full. Damon was known to his Navy brothers and sisters as ‘triple sticks’. We wish Damon God’s speed, Fair Winds and Following Seas Sailor.
