ERNEST J. BABIN SR., 60, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, December 
20, 2015, in Slidell.

He is survived by five children: Ernest Babin Jr, Eric Babin (Nicole), Steven 
Babin (Sara), Clayton Babin, Christina Babin; one brother: Carl Babin Jr.; one 
sister: Deborah Sumlin; six grandchildren: Ernest Babin III, Eli Babin, Kyla 
Babin, Eric Babin Jr., Louann Marie Johnson, Steven Paul Johnson Jr.; previous 
wife and lifelong friend: Cheryl Ann Williams; nieces, nephews, and other 
relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Lupe Babin.

Mr. Babin was a carpenter, who loved Golfing, Fishing, his children, 
grandchildren, playing cards, and dice.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 9:00am until 
11:00am, at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE BLVD WEST, SLIDELL LA 70460.

Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
