Betty Lee Herthum Boasso passed away at her home in Arabi, La on Tuesday, 
December 22, 2015, at the age of 88. 

She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Arabi for over 60 years. Mrs. 
Boasso was a loving wife of 40 years to the late Randall Boasso Sr. Devoted 
mother of Deborah M.Gendusa and her late Husband Charlie “Mickey” Gendusa, 
Randall J. Boasso Jr. and his wife Patricia “Patsy” Boasso, Paddy M. Thibodeaux 
and her husband Thomas, Stanford J. Boasso and his former wife Angela, Brad J. 
and Tharon J. Boasso. Sister of Dorothy Herthum Nunez, and Elaine Herthum Nagri 
and the late Eugene Herthum, John Herthum, and Leona Herthum. Grandmother of 
Christy, Michele, Leslie, Serra, Kyle, Adam, Kayla, and Daniel. Great- 
Grandmother of Chase, Brendan, Davyn, Ella, Cameron, Matthew, and Anthony.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on 
Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 
Chalmette, LA at 11:30 am. 

Visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 am. 

Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
