Demster Jr., private business owner, contractor, published country music song writer, former police officer, acoustic guitar player and vocalist, motorcyclist, and responsible for 1 million laughs enjoyed by his friends. Jack Joseph Demster Jr., “Big Jack” entered eternal life on Sunday, December 20, 2015. A patriot and resident of St. Tammany since 1990; he was born on Tuesday, January 8, 1957 in Gretna, La. To Genevieve Thibodeaux, and Jack Joseph Demster Sr. His spirit is carried on by his Beloved wife Julie Templet Demster, his two sons, Jack Joseph Demster III (Melissa) and Joshua John Demster (Kristin), his two grandchildren, Emma Grace and Liam Michael Demster, his sister, Marion Fontenot Acquistapace (Rodney), his nephew’s, Jason Moreland and Blake Muller, his two nieces, Windy Muller (Mark) and Nicole Bienvenu, and his devoted friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Jack J. Demster Sr. and by his sister Karen Demster Moreland. Forever missed, well renowned for his Harley Davidson enthusiasm and his never ending devotion for helping anyone in need. “Big Jack” accompanied the world with his vast wisdom and inspiration. His undying compassion, enormous heart, and guidance will serve as a long lasting treatise to anyone ever encountered by Jack. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at E.J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, La. 70433. Visiting hours on Saturday will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, La. will immediately follow services.
