Mildred McDavitt Gayle passed away on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at her home 
in Covington, LA. 
She was born on October 12, 1924 in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Issac 
McDavitt and Joella Mitchell McDavitt.

Millie was married to her beloved husband, Robert Lewis Gayle, for 67 years. 
She was the sister of Grace Beasley, the late Johnny McDavitt, and Mitty Jo 
Skaggs. Millie will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:000PM at First Church of Christ 
Scientist, 129 E. 23rd Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
