Joe A. Howard, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015, he 
was 87 years old.

Beloved husband of the late Marie Adele Howard.
Father of Dara Cook and husband, John; John Cook and wife, Sandra.
Son of the late George Washington Howard and Ethel Montgomery Howard. 
Also survived by his loving grandchildren: Riley Long; Brandon and Scott Brack; 
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00P.M.

Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, 
LA.
