DOLORES (NUPIE) MATTHEWS MACKENIZIE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, 
December 21st , 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Kevin MacKenzie .

Nupie is a native of Bunkie, LA . She lived in Mississippi and Louisiana most 
of her life.
She is survived by her daughter , Terri Herman, son-in-law Gary Herman, Son, 
Bobby Harrington, daughter-in-law Jessica Harrington, and daughter, Monica 
Menck.
Sister of Audrey Smith, Lois Hueshen, Debra Johns, Patsy Starnes, and Gary 
Matthews.
Also survived by 9 grandchildren; Ashley, Justin, Matthew, Joshua, James, 
Kaylee, AJ, Sammie and Zack. 
She had 8 great grandchildren ; Isaiah, Miah, Leah, Douglas, Ariella,Matthew 
Jr, Andrian, and Kalli and a host of nieces , nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ford & Cecelia Matthews , 4 brothers; 
Robert, Junior, Charles, Raymond Matthews, and 1 sister, Louise Wintzel.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday , December 29, 2015 .

The visitation will be 11am – 1pm with the service starting at 1pm.
