POLK, SHIRLEY MARIE 

On Monday December 28, 2015 Shirley Marie Polk age 67 of Pearl River, LA went 
to be with Our Lord. 

She was a member of Charter Oak Baptist Church and a seamstress for most her 
life. 

Shirley is survived by her daughters Beverly Hall and Stephanie Roques (Ricky), 
her sister Carolyn Havard, grandchildren Bradley Christensen, Alex Christensen, 
and Christopher Marcussen, step granddaughter Desiree, great grandchildren 
Hunter and Izzabella Marcussen, Carter and Emma Christensen, and step great 
grandchildren Lathen, Noah, Addison, and Averlee. 

Ms. Polk is preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Evelyn Polk Sr., and her 
brother Ellis Polk Jr. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 31, 2015 at 2 pm from the 
chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452, with 
visitation from 10 am until service time at 2 pm. 

Interment to follow at Charter Oak Cemetery in Pearl River, LA. 
Brother Carl Dickens to be officiating.
