On Tuesday December 15, 2015 Ronald Wheat, age 69 of Slidell, LA went to be 
with Our Lord. 

He served in the war during the Vietnam era, and worked for the Local Union 
1846 for 9 years. 

Mr. Wheat is survived by his wife of 42 years Mollie Polk Wheat, daughters 
Bridget O’Malley (husband Terry), and Nicole Kassing (husband Joseph), 
grandchildren Hunter O’Malley, Brooke O’Malley, Gage O’Malley, and Ashlynn 
Kassing, and brothers and sisters; Shirley Roberts, JoAnn Bounds, Carl Vincent 
Brandt, Jr., Robert Wayne Brandt, Carol Brandt Reine, Michael Jeffrey Brandt, 
Marian Brandt Eades, Joseph O. Brandt, and Martha Wheat Temples. 

Ronald is preceded in death by his parent Lonnie Lee Wheat (wife Shirley 
Bailey), Helen Lavern Jacques Brandt (husband Carl Brandt Sr.), and brothers 
Mark Bailey, Sidney Wheat, Richard Wheat, and Kenneth Wheat. 

Visitation will be held on Friday December 18, 2015 from 10 am until 12:30 pm 
with funeral services starting at 12:30 pm from the chapel of D.T. Williams 
Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452. 

Interment to follow at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA. 
Brother Mike Callahan to be officiating.
