Richard “Dick” Joseph Chanecka, age 84, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, 
January 26, 2016.

Husband of the late Margaret Turan Chanecka.
Father of Roy Chanecka and the late Lawrence Chanecka.
Brother of Jean Coolbaugh of San Antonio, Tx., Helene Marhefka of Lomita, Ca., 
Joan Evans of Binghamton, N.Y. and the late Paulette Nowak and Robert Chanecka.
Also survived by his grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Chanecka.

He was an avid Golfer, a family man, great father, a devout Christian and 
parishioner of St. Margaret Mary.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the 

Graveside Service and interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1751 Gause Blvd., 
West, Slidell, LA on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.
