Patrick Rube Hunt, Sr., a resident of Covington, LA, passed away at the age of 
48 on January 28, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. 

The middle of five children, Pat was born on January 4, 1968 in Cleveland, MS 
to Dorothy M. Bennett of Covington and Avery Leo Hunt, Sr. of Eidson, TN.  He 
is survived by his two children, Patrick R. Hunt, Jr. of Mandeville, LA. and 
Kaileigh N. Hunt of Long Beach, MS.  He is also survived by his siblings Leo 
Hunt, Jr. of Orlando, FL.  David Hunt of Covington, LA.  Eric Hunt of Wiley, 
TX.  and Robyn Hunt of Ocean Springs, MS.; stepmother Diane Hunt; and close 
personal friend Karen Toups.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and 
in-laws.

Pat will be remembered by his many friends as loyal, fun loving and always 
ready for the next adventure.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at12:00 PM 
at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation 
from 10:00 AM until service time

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hope Lodge in 
New Orleans in memory of Pat, as it served as his home away from home for many 
months.
