Irene C. Mills, 99 years of age, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2016. 

Originally from Wichita KS, she has made her home in Slidell for the past 50 
years.

Beloved wife of the late Delbert I. Mills. Daughter of the late Robert E. 
Stocker and Louise Kase Stocker.

Mother of Gary A. Mills (Bridget) of Prairieville LA, and Randall S. Mills 
(Stacy) of Conroe TX.
Sister of Eleanor Stocker Miller of Wichita KS.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren: Richard L. Mills, S. Michael Lavigne, Chad B. 
Adams, Rachel Mills Edens, Amanda Mills Thompson, and Matthew L. Mills.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. 

Interment will be at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Port Hudson LA.

Donations to Azalea Estate Assisted Living and Retirement Community, 354 Robert 
Boulevard, Slidell LA 70458 in lieu of flowers
