Ruby Whitfield Parker passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016. 
She was 91 years old. 

A resident of Slidell, La. since 1944, she was born at home in Nicholson, Miss. 
on Dec. 3, 1924 to Mary Stewart Whitfield and Warren Whitfield. 

The beloved wife of the late Hosea Albert (H.A.) Parker for 49 years. 
She was proceeded in death by her brothers Lawrence and Curtis Whitfield and 
sister Emma Burch. 

She is survived by her sons, James (Ronnie) Parker, Glen W. Parker and daughter 
Mary (Peggy) Payne and daughter in laws Claudia Johnson Parker and Laurie 
Powell Parker. 
Seven grandchildren Ronnie, Chad (and wife Michelle) Parker, Jeff, Sara, Kevin 
(& wife Kerri) Parker , Dawn Sharpe and Paul (PJ)(& wife Erin) Payne. Eight 
great grand children Ashley, Chad and Cameron Parker, Dillon, Deana and Dalton 
Sharpe, Parker and Delilah Bobbitt. 
One great-great grandchild Kruz Rushing.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, Slidell,la.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 9A.M until 
11:00A.M
