Josephine Mildred Pena, “Miss Millie”, age 92, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
January 4, 2016, at 4:12 am. 

She was the wife of the late Peter Charles Pena, mother of Barbara Ellen 
Bridges of Tomball, TX, Frances Jean O’Reilly of Slidell, LA, Clifford Charles 
Pena of Dallas, TX, the late Janice Margaret Knerien of Slidell, LA, Gerald 
Sidney Pena of Bellingham, WA, Ronald Douglas Pena of Lacombe, LA, Stephen 
Craig Pena of Biloxi, MS, and Richard Thomas Pena of Slidell, LA. She was 
grandmother to fifteen, great-grandmother to 28, and great-great-grandmother to 
five.

Visitation will be held at Honaker Funeral Home on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 
from 11:00am until 1:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm, Pastor 
Morris St. Angelo presiding. 

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate the life of this beautiful woman.
