Gary John Barrios, Sr. passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the age of 
79.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra Boudreaux Barrios. Loving father of 
Christine Barrios Clements, Robin Barrios Morganstern, Gary John Barrios, Jr., 
and Diann Barrios Villemarette. Son of the late Nola Breaux Barrios and Walter 
Mitchel Barrios. He is also survived by his two brothers, Walter and Raymond; 
two sisters, Delores and Geraldine; and many grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.

Mr. Barrios retired from Avondale Shipyard. He touched many lives and will be 
greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives, friends and fellow employees of Avondale Shipyard are invited to 
attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation on 
Friday beginning at 9:00 AM.
