Martin Anthony Kiern Jr. (Bob) 76, passed away peacefully February 19, 2016 at 
Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson La.  
He was born on April 4, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Martin Anthony Kiern 
Sr. and Lura Agnes Olmstead Kiern.

Bob was married to Carol Kay Kiern (Kay) in 1975 in Jefferson, Louisiana. They 
were happily married for 40 years. 

He was an Industrial Machinist with Pellerin Milnor most of his career. Bob was 
an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved western movies 
and spending time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife Kay, mother of Donovan Raggio Jr., Lisa Raggio 
Charouleau, Louis Claveria Jr., Carlos  Claveria (deceased), Gina Claveria 
Fucci and his children Kim Barnett, Terry Lamineck/Brunzel and Betsy 
Bruno(deceased). He was a loving PawPaw to 15 grandchildren and a host of great 
grandchildren.
Siblings: Richard Ball, Sandra Hall, Patricia Bordelon (deceased), Christine 
Silva, David Delatte, Eva Parent.

 A Memorial Service was held Sunday February 21, 2016 at 6 pm at Riverside 
Baptist Church 9220 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, Louisiana. 

In lieu of flowers the family requested Memorial donations be made to Riverside 
Baptist Church 9220 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, Louisiana 70123
