Wayne was born December 18, 1937 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Educated in both Florida and New Orleans. He joined the Air Force in 1955 during the Korean War era, and served in Germany. Wayne was a resident of Slidell for 49 years and retired from the Monteleone Hotel after 26 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, boating, hunting & camping with his family and friends. A beloved husband of 58 years to Aida Terranova Moree. A loving father to Denise Branigan (Daniel), Rhonda Audibert (Scott), Dillman Moree Jr. (Karen), and Carlton Moree. Brother of Cynthia Hancock (James), Carlton Moree and Angus Moree (Gayle). Paw Paw to Cheryl Booty, Scott W. Audibert, Chad Audibert, Kendall Moree and Austin Moree. Great Grandfather to Cooper Booty and Pandora Franks. He was preceded in death by his father Carlton Courtney Moree and his mother Faith Eunice (Malone) Moree.
