Born on Wednesday, May 22, 1946 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Walter C. Hoffman and Mable Hoffman-Martin. She is survived by her husband Roy J. Shubert III, her daughter Dawn Campbell (Kevin), sons Eric Goodman (Cindy), Roy Shubert, IV (Chrystie), her brothers Buddy Hoffman (Belinda), Philip Hoffman (Laure), 7 Grandchildren, and 2 Great- Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Debbie Hoffman, 39 years to the day. Sandra was a teacher with the St. Tammany Parish School System for 32 years. Sandra was teacher of the year in 2004- 2005 and ELK teacher of the year in 2005. Sandra loved every moment of her long teaching career as she loved each of her students as if they were her own children. Her time spent with Roy and their horses was precious to her as a life-long passion. Sandra loved everyone she met and would do anything for anyone. We have all been blessed to know and love Sandra, to experience her joy and love of life, and to look forward to the day when we will see her again. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 02, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
