Walter Philip “Bubba” Spell, 81 of Bush, LA passed away on Thursday, February 
18, 2016, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. 

He was born on Monday, March 19, 1934 in Covington, LA to the late James Spell 
and Leona Mathies Spell.

Bubba is survived by his wife Doris Bennett Spell, one sister Earlene "Lena" 
Spell Willis (Jerry), and one brother Adrian Spell (Nancy). He is also survived 
by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers James "Jimmy" Spell, Jr., Sydney 
"DeeDee" Spell, Anthony "Tony" Spell, and three sisters Martha Spell Sharp, 
Dorothy "Dottie" Spell McCoy, and Stella Spell Sanchez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on 
Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Collins Blvd. Baptist Church, 1501 Collins 
Blvd. Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Wednesday at the church will begin at 
9:00 AM until service time and also on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 6:00 PM 
to 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W.21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Interment in Sharp's Chapel Cemetery Bush, LA will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Collins Blvd. Baptist Church.
