On Wednesday, February 17, 2016, Sister Jane St. Amant, OSB, was called to New 
Life.

Given the name Lyla Mae St. Amant at birth, she was welcomed on March 6, 1924, 
by her parents Walter Carl St. Amant and Lyla Margaret Canton St. Amant of 
Hammond, Louisiana.

A time of prayer, reflection and remembrance of Sister Jane's life will be held 
at a later date.

It was Sister Jane’s request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the 
Sisters of Benedict Retirement Fund. The address is: 102 Maria Avenue, Abita 
Springs, LA, 70420.
