Peggy Jane Theriot, age 67 of Covington, LA died on Sunday, February 07, 2016, 
at The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, LA. 

Born, Monday, January 10, 1949 in Tiptonville, TN to James W. Badger and Agnes 
Eldean Faulkner Badger.

She lived in Tennessee and Illinois before coming to Louisiana in the early 
70’s and that is when she met her true love Patrick Theriot. They were married 
August 30, 1975 and in October 1979 they were truly blessed with a son, her 
pride and joy - Patrick James (P.J.) Theriot, II, of Madisonville, LA. 
She is survived by her Daughter-in-law - Misty Theriot, Granddaughters - Skylar 
Alexis Theriot, and Camden Marie Theriot, Sister - Judy Badger Hand (Larry), of 
Cummings, GA, Brother - Barry N. Badger, Hattiesburg, MS, Nieces – Brandi Allen 
and Ashley Hand, Nephew - Matthew Hand, God-child – Summer Lynn, and many 
cherished friends. 

She was predeceased by her Parents and Brother - James W. Badger, Jr.

Jane was in the floral business for many years on the Westbank and the 
Northshore.

A special message from Jane: “I truly believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is my 
only salvation. I give Him thanks for all he has given me in my time I have had 
with you all!”

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on 
Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st 
Avenue Covington, LA 70433 with Rev. Scott Allen officiating. Visitation on 
Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 9:00 AM to service time.

Interment in Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery Slidell, LA.
