WEST, NOLAN T., 65, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. 

He was a native of Picayune, Mississippi, and a resident of Slidell for the 
past forty years. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Marcia M. West, daughter, 
Michelle West Scelson, son-in-law, Brent J. Scelson, grandson, Jacob “Jake” 
Scelson, brother, Dr. Michael H. West, and several cousins, nieces, and 
nephews. He will also be missed by several other close family members and 
friends. 

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Howard Thomas and Helen Katherine 
West, and son, Michael Charles West. He enjoyed spending time with his friends 
and family and watching cartoons with his grandson, Jake.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at 
Honaker Funeral Home,1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, 
LA on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. 

In lieue of flowers, the family has requested that donations be in Nolan’s 
memory to Children’s Hospital.
