JACKIE D. WOOTEN, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the age of 83. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Birdie Wooten, brothers Eugene and 
Bobby Wooten and daughter, Dee Ann Milner.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bette Jackson Wooten (B.J.)
Loving father of Steven D. Wooten (Gina), Jacque L. Reeder (Donald) Darin Lake 
(Toni) and Joe Don Lake (Kym).
Also survived by 20 grandchildren and great grandchilren.

Jack was born in Amarillo, Tx and was a longtime resident of Slidell, La.
He worked for Chevron Oil Company in the Exploration department for 39 years.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
