James ‘Loudie’ Lewis Carter, II, age 67 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
Saturday, March 19, 2016. 

Beloved husband of the late Rebecca Hines Carter .
Father of Randall L. Carter(Angel), Jeremy W. Carter(Melissa) and Daniel J. 
Carter.
Son of the late James L. Carter and Aleda Reaux Baker.
Brother of Donald H. Carter, David L. Carter and Ellen C. Rackley.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren and a great grandson.

A native of Springfield, ILL., and a resident of Slidell since 1990.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War (1965-69) aboard the U.S.S. 
Saratoga and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5735.

He retired from Jacks Cookies in 2006 after 30 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN 
CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment will be on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., in Biloxi National 
Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.

Donations to American Kidney Foundation, preferred, in lieu of flowers
