Jacquelyn Courville Richard, 67, of Mandeville, LA, passed away on March 30, 
2016. 

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 8th at Chapel at 
Rouquette Lodge, 4300 Hwy 22, Mandeville, LA.  Friends and family may gather 
and visit before starting at 9:00 AM. 

Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 9th at Consolata Cemetery 
in Lake Charles, LA. 

A very devout Catholic, Jacquelyn was very involved in local Catholic Churches 
wherever she lived. Sharing her faith with others was one of her most 
passionate desires and she made a great impact wherever she went. She also was 
actively involved in Church of the King. 

Jacquelyn is survived by her daughter, Yvette Karcher, son-in-law, David 
Karcher and her two grandchildren Hannah and Megan Sutton. She is preceded in 
death by her parents, Tony and Armont Courville, her sister, Elizabeth 
Courville Soileau, and her son, Stephen Richard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Our Lady of Divine 
Providence, House of Prayer, 711 S. Bayview Avenue Clearwater, Florida 33759. 

The family wishes to thank Ponchartrain Dialysis Center and Church of the King, 
the amazing St. Joseph Hospice staff, two beautiful angels who were her day and 
night nurses, and her loving and loyal friends for their assistance with her 
care and needs, both physical and spiritual.
