Jules Edward Walder, III, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Slidell, 
LA. 

He was born on October 16, 1962 in Slidell, LA to Jules Edward Walder, Jr., and 
Carol Stinson Walder. Jules was the grandson of the late Jules and Beatrice 
Walder, and Vamon and Tena Stinson.

Jules was married to his beloved wife, Tammy Ordoyne Walder, for 35 years and 
together they had 2 children, Julie W. Day (Patrick) and Jarred Walder (Dana). 
He was the loving grandfather of Alivia Walder and Sean Walder. Jules was the 
brother of Stephen E. Walder, Stephanie W. Munch, and the late Samuel E. 
Walder.

Jules was a life-long resident of Mandeville, LA. He served as a fire fighter 
for 25 years. Jules began his career as a volunteer fire fighter, became a fire 
fighter operator, was licensed as an E.M.T. and HazMat Technician, and retired 
as Captain of Mandeville Fire District 4. Jules was a past president of the 
Mandeville Lions Club and was honored with the Melvin Jones Award for his 
tireless work in the community. He was an avid Harley rider, hunter, and NASCAR 
fan. Jules was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, March 15, 
2016 at 11:00 AM. A WAKE will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6:00 PM 
until 9:00 PM. VISITATION on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 will be from 9:00 AM until 
service time. 

Interment will follow the service at the Mandeville City Cemetery, Mandeville, 
LA. 

After the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be held at the 
Mandeville Lions Club, 720 Lafitte St, Mandeville, LA
