Donald ‘Don’ Beard, age 68, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Raised and guided in his life by Edna and Henry Augustin.
Father of Cory Beard (Hana Perlee) and Ryan Beard.
Grandfather of Sonny Beard.
Brother of Ann Gaubert and Phyllis Augustin.
Lifelong friend and caretaker throughout his life, Sylvia Dittmann Beard.

A native of New Orleans, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Corporal 
during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Delta Airlines after 29 years.
He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
from Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, Slidell, on Thursday, April 
14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.

Visitation will be on Thursday after 11:00 a.m.

Interment, with military honors, will be in the Southeast La. Veterans 
Cemetery, Slidell.
