He was born September 14, 1938 to the late Martin Rodgers and Theresa McKeithen Biggers and has been a lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish. The beloved husband of Bobbie Darby Baham Biggers and the late Sue Jenkins Biggers Rivet. He is survived by his three daughters; Debroah Suggs (John), Karen Tisdale (GR) and April Sanders. He is also survived by his three sons; Charles Biggers II (Amy), Randy Biggers, Adrian Biggers, as well as a step-son C.J. Baham (Zoe). He was preceded in death by one sister, Mona Warn and one brother, Randy Labourde He is also survived by his sisters, Brenda Gulino (Russell), and Arleen Goins (Oscar) as well as two brothers; Bobby Biggers (Dee) and Danny Biggers (Julie) Peggy Quinn (Ray). He leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Mandeville Christian Fellowship Church, where he sang in the Choir. He retired from Chief of Police from the Madisonville Police Department and The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. He was a member of the Masons. Charlie was an avid softball player, horseshoe, bowling, and an all-around athlete. Special thanks to the St. Tammany Hospice, mainly for his nurse Susan Oser, and to the Dr.’s and staff at Ochsner for the incredible care he received. Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. with visitations starting at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following Re-Pass will be held at Mandeville Christian Fellowship Church 1213 Hwy 1088 Mandeville, LA. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Charlie and to take part in the welcoming of Charlie’s homecoming to the Lord.
