He is survived by his 4 children, Robert Joseph Fousch, Jr., husband of Patricia Salisbury Fousch, Bret Joseph Fousch, husband of Andrea Montz Fousch, Lori Fousch Samataro, wife of Stephen Anthony Samataro, and Theresa Fousch Carrone, wife of Anthony Joseph Carrone. Robert is the grandfather of six grandchildren, Collin Fousch, Alexandra Fousch Raymond, Andrew Fousch, Elizabeth Carrone, Nicholas Samataro, and Michael Samataro. He is also survived by one brother, Edward Joseph Fousch, husband of Virgie Fousch, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Emily Madary Fousch and Jacob Joseph Fousch. He was a native of New Orleans and long time resident of Lacombe, a parishioner of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, former Grand Knight of the St. John of the Cross Knights of Columbus Alex Semel Council, recipient of the St. Louis Medallion for his contribution of time & service to the church, a veteran of the United States Army, retired lineman for over 30 years of service at South Central Bell, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. After retiring in 1999, Robert opened Northstar Wire and Communications. Robert (known to his friends as “Bob”) was always full of life and a man of many talents. He was a true New Orleanian with an unwavering appreciation for Jazz, Food, and his love of art. Everyone who knew Bob knew that he was an amazing and talented artist. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends who knew him. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18th at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61051 Brier Lake Drive, Lacombe, LA with a Memorial Mass immediately following. Internment will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road, Slidell, LA at 1:00 p.m. US Army ===================
