Jonathan Lewis Hattaway passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Covington, 
LA. 
He was born on August 11, 1951, in New Orleans, LA., to the late Dr. Milton 
Maxwell Hattaway and Lewis Ann Berry Hattaway.

He is survived by one brother, Michael Hattaway (Colleen); one sister, Milancy 
McNamara (William); and three nephews, Patrick, John-Michael, and Christopher 
McNamara.

Jon is a native of the New Orleans area, lived in Arkansas for several years, 
then moved back to New Orleans, and later Mandeville and Covington. 
He attended Centenary College in Shreveport and USL in Lafayette. 
He was a paramedic for the New Orleans Police Dept., the St. Charles Parish 
Fire Department, and later a medical insurance claims investigator.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 3:00PM, at The 
Backporch, 414 N. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA.
