Mary (Maisie) Evelyn Harris Madison, born on March 11, 1928 in Picayune Ms, and 
lived in slidell since 1949, died Monday, April 18, 2016, age 88. 

She was the beloved wife of Francis L. Madison.
Daughter of the late Lucille Stockstill Weddle and Jesse Boyd Harris. 
Sister of the late: WESLEY H. HARRIS, wife, Del;  and James B. Harris. 
Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Maisie was a graduate from Picayune high school and Pearl River junior college. 
She was employed at First Bank Of Slidell and St. Tammany Parish School System 
as school secretary at Florida Avenue Elementary School until retirement in 
1987.

She was a member of "the First United Methodist Church of Slidell. Maisie was a 
very active lifetime member of both the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association 
and the St. Tammany Parish Teachers' Association. 

After retirement Maisie and Fran formed a music combo to voluntarily entertain, 
especially nursing homes, churches and other senior groups. 

Funeral services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd, west, 
Slidell, La.   The Rev. Karl Klaus, of First United Methodist Church Of Slidell 
will officiate.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 from 9:00 a.m., until service 
time at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetary in Picayune, Ms.  

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent First United Methodist Church Of 
Slidell, 433 Erlanger St. Slidell, La 70458.
