Joseph A. “Casey” Marchese, 90, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, April 
21, 2016.

Beloved Husband of Lorraine Callihan Marchese;
Father of Joseph A. Marchese Jr., Victor B. Marchese, and the late Ruth M. 
Carpenter; step-father of Tammy M. Caro (C.J.), Kim M. Brans (Jack), and the 
late Rickie A. Marinello;
Son of the late Anthony H.J. Marchese and Anna Alessandra Marchese;
Brother of the late Anthony H. J. Marchese;
Also survived by four grandchildren: Joseph S. Catanese (Andrea), Lacey M. 
Cummings, Devin M. Catanese (Mindy), Rennie L. Clotworthy, four great-
grandchildren: Taylor Cummings, Scarlett Catanese, Anna Cummings, and Knoxlee 
Catanese; a sister-in-law: June Hartman, a cousin: Sandra Menk, many nieces, 
nephews, cousins, and other relatives

A native and longtime resident of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 
2005.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at 
St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd, Slidell LA 70461.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00pm.

Sincere appreciation is given to the Doctors and Nurses of Ochsner Foundation 
Hospital, Ochsner Medical Center Northshore, and Northshore Acute Specialty 
Hospital in Covington, for their care and support.
