Grace Rose Melancon, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday April 22, 2016.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis John Melancon Jr.;
parents, Rose Falco Bonura and August Falco; stepfather, Joseph Bonura; sister,
Margaret Davenport, and grandson, Chris J. Hebert. 

She is survived by her sisters; Nancy Espenan and Joann Waguespack and 
daughters; Suzette M. Dillon (William), Dennise M. Matranga (Richard), Renee’ 
R. Gisclair (Michael) and Jeanne V. LaMothe (Nicholas). She is also survived by 
her grandsons; Richard J. Matranga Jr., Brent L. Smith, and Nicholas J. 
LaMothe, and great granddaughters; Morgan E. Hebert, Emma C. and Katelyn N. 
LaMothe, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She raised, on her own, her daughters in Jefferson, LA and then lived in 
Lakeview for many years before becoming a resident of Metairie Manor.

It was her firm wish that no service be held. Your prayers and mass offerings 
are appreciated.
