Herman O. Moore, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, he 
was 94 years old.

Beloved husband of the late Frances C. Moore.
Father of Kenneth Moore Sr. and wife, Barbara.
Son of the late Samuel M. Moore and Ruby M. Moore.
Brother of: Samuel M. Moore, Jr.; Robert M. Moore; Sarah M. Morris; the late: 
Harold E. Moore and Mary M. Alexander.
Also survived by his grandchildren Kenneth Moore, Jr.; Casey Moore; Kevin 
Moore; Christopher Moore; great grandchildren: Camden Moore; Shilo Moore; and 
Julia Moore.

Herman served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean 
War. He retired after 32 years of service at Chevron Oil Company in the 
Aviation Department and upon retirement was manager of the Aviation Department 
of the Eastern Region. 
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church; Slidell Noon Lions Club; 
and the Ozone Camellia Club.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services 
Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Ave, 
Slidell, LA, Visitation from 9:00 A.M. until service at 11:00 A.M. and a 
reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of LA, 
3445 North Causeway Blvd, Suite 902, Metairie, LA, 70002.
