David was a happy and hardworking man that never wanted much out of life, just the simple quiet pleasures of sharing his life with his beloved Renee S. Utley Polk and his children and grandchildren. David was well loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was always there for you and he would go out of his way to help out anyone that needed him. He had a great laugh and an even greater heart. David was the father of four loving sons from his first marriage to Cynthia Polk Landry. Youngest Justin M. Polk, Brandon D. Polk, Timothy J. Polk, and Bobby J. Polk. David also had four loving step children from his second marriage to his beloved Renee S. Utley Polk. Youngest Jessica L. Utley, Jason W. Utley, Aaron L. Utley and Chad Highlander. David was a loving and devoted grandfather to Kyleigh Polk, Emilee Polk, Natalie Polk, Gabriel Polk, Brandon Polk Jr. Seth Polk and Madeline Utley. Michael Shawn Whitt, Benjamin Whitt-Martin, and Isaiah Martin, and Chloe Highlander. David’s siblings are his brother Johnny, and sisters Betty Ann, Becky, and Margaret. David Lee Polk served eight years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. David was born to Betty Ann Stiller Polk and Johnny Lee Polk on March 2, 1957.
