EMILE THOMAS ‘WILLIE’ WEATHERS, JR., a dedicated husband, father and 
grandfather, a Master Mason and member of the Slidell Masonic Lodge #311, 
passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016.

Beloved husband of Karrel Zechenelly Weathers
Father of Charlotte Cochran(Mark), Emile Weathers,III(Kelley), Kasey Dorr(Kim) 
and Katie Ray(Tommy).
Son of the late Emile Thomas Weathers, Sr. and Lois Boudreaux Weathers.
Brother of the late Wanda Thomassie.
Son in law of Theresa Auer Zechenelly.
Also survived by his grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Evan, Griffin, Graison, 
Rhett, Grayson, D.J., Aidyn, Madison, Carson, Jackson and Trey.

Age 65, he was a native of Gretna, La., and a longtime resident of Slidell, La.

To know everything about Willie, you only had to visit Ace Hardware in Slidell, 
LA. There, he truly was the “Helpful Hardware Man”. He was very hardworking, 
dedicated and passionate about his profession and very active within the 
community. 
Some of his community involvements were as members of the Rotary Club of 
Slidell, recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Recognition award, long-time SBBA 
Board member, Heritage Festival Commission and Coastal Cruisers. His passion 
for corvettes led him to victory as a winner of “Ford vs Chevy” in Gulfport, 
MS. His achievement as Lifetime President of the Man Law Club will be forever 
etched in the hearts of a group of his special friends

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN 
CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
