Beloved wife of 62 years to the late August Joseph Baumgartner. Loving mother of Steven Baumgartner (Mary) and Susan Baumgartner. Beloved daughter of the late Henrietta Ness Lentz and Edward Frederick Lentz. Sister of Robert Lentz, Betty Lentz Eckert and the late Edward Lentz. Grandmother of Amy Baumgartner Spain, Sara Baumgartner Daniel (Thomas) and John Baumgartner (Adrienne). Great- grandmother of Jackson and Genevieve Spain, Elizabeth and Anne Daniel, Nina and Juliana Baumgartner. Mrs. Baumgartner was a native of Ayr, ND, taught in the Catholic Schools in the Chicago area for 20 years and was a resident of Mandeville for the past 36 years. She was a parishioner of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mandeville. The family would like to thank the staff at the Windsor Senior Living Community, to her sitters with R & R Care Solutions, St. Tammany Hospital Hospice and the staff at Amedysis Home Health. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 W. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Baumgartner to be made to The Rev. Ronald L. Calkins MQPCS Endowment Fund to support Catholic Education. ===================
