Estelle B. Chretien, born in New Orleans, La. January 30, 1918. She passed on 
May 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Eugene Anthony 
Chretien and her first-born daughter Jean Charlene Chretien. She is survived by 
her two daughters, Joan Chretien Sercovich and her husband Lindon Sercovich Sr. 
and Janet Chretien Gatlin, and her husband Tally Wayne Gatlin. Six 
grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jeremy and Joshua Gatlin, Carla Gatlin Hilland, Lindon 
Jr. and Jacob Sercovich. Eight great-grandchildren, Austin Gatlin, Noah Gatlin, 
Tally, Corbin and Stella Gatlin and Jacob, Ashlyn and Andrew Hilland. Her 
greatest joy in life was spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 
and her Friday night bingo. 

In lieu of flowers Estelle’s wish is for donations to the Jean Chretien 
Scholarship Fund at Slidell High School.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, Slidell,la.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. 
until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.
