Born in New Orleans and lived in many places while serving in the United States Marine Corps as a combat wounded Vietnam Veteran from 1966 – 1969. A graduate from Francis T. Nicholls High School in 1966. Upon discharge from the Marine Corps, he received two Associate Degrees and through Lockheed Martin Aerospace “Martin Marietta”, he received a Bachelor’s Degree and two Master Degrees in aerospace engineering. In 1985, he lived in Port St. John, Florida for 15 years and with his wife, Ida, then moved to Abita Springs in 1999. Loving and devoted spouse of Idalean “Ida” Montelaro Guillory just shy of 50 years. Devoted father of Stephen, Jr. (Stephanie) and Melissa Guillory LeBlanc (David). Loving grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren who were the light of his life, David II, Katie and Jesse. Son of the late Jesse J. Guillory and Elaine Guillory Ensminger. Also survived by his stepmother Virginia Guillory. Stepbrother of Damian and Norris Ortolano and Lisa Duffy (Terry). Brother in law of “Antoinette” Montelaro Padilla (Frank), Anthony “Tony” Montelaro, Jr., Kimberly Montelaro Hammers (Carl) and the late Frank Montelaro. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved and had a special relationship with many of them. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jane deChantal Catholic Church, Abita Springs, LA on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12:30 pm. Visitation beginning at 11:30 am. Marine Corps Honors will take place at the church. A private interment will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the Marine Corps League (mclnational.org). ===================
