JOHN ‘BILL’ WILLIAM O’HANLON, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning 
of Saturday, May 14, 2016.

He was 79 years old. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, raised in Corpus 
Christi, Texas, and was a 35-year resident of Slidell, LA.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Katherine Ahr O’Hanlon, 
his dear daughters, Susan Ryals Udstad (Sig) and Sharon O’Hanlon, and his 
adored grandson Conner Ryals.
He is also survived by 7 sister-in-laws, 6 brother-in-laws and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ O’Hanlon and 
John D. O’Hanlon, and uncle Gerald O’Hanlon.
Bill was retired as a systems analyst from the federal government, U.S. Navy.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and craftsman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation at St. Margaret Mary 
Church, 1050 Robert Blvd, Slidell, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10:00 am 
until 12:00 pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon.

Interment in Seaside Memorial, Corpus Christi, TX on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses or memorial contributions to 
Benedictine Sisters of Boerne, TX, 416 West Highland Dr, Boerne, TX 78006, or 
to St. Margaret Mary Church, 1050 Robert Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458.
