Kenneth Jerry Penton passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of 47 years to Marie DeLuca Penton. Loving father of K. Jeff 
Penton (Angie), Scott E. Penton (Faith) and Steven A. Penton (Tina) and the 
late Sharon K. Penton. Beloved son of the late Mathilda Hunt Penton and Kenzie 
Penton. He is survived by siblings, Jimmy Penton, Ronda P. Thomas and 
predeceased by six. Also survived by ten grandchildren, Sandra, Kenny, Eric, 
Heather, Maleigh, Cassidy, Slayton, Madison, Maison and Brayden; and great-
grandchildren, Cameron, Lynleigh and Brinleigh.

Mr. Penton was a lifelong resident of the northshore, a former reserve deputy 
for the St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs Office and a retired employee of the St. 
Tammany Parish School Board.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, 
May 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at noon.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Penton to be 
made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
