Charlie is survived by his wife of 37 years Cheryl Pique, and his children Charles S. Pique, III, William Gus Pique (Patricia), Mary Lisa Pique Galatoire (Leon), Amber Bishop, and Lindlee Dermody (Craig). He is also survived by his four grandsons and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Sessel Pique, and mother Mary Mena Smith Pique. Charles was a native New Orleanian graduating from Tulane University. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was in the Oil and Gas Business and a respected Restauranteur of both Allouette and Pique’s Wharf. He was a Southern Gentleman that enjoyed fishing, hunting and was the Bright Light that shinned in everyone he ever met. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and got the opportunity to know this Amazing Man. We love you Papa Charlie and Rest in Peace. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time. There will be a Celebration of Life at Maison Lafitte Restaurant, 402 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA immediately following the Funeral Mass until 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, LA at 4 PM. The family would like to send a special thank you to Notre Dame Hospice of New Orleans.
