Leo Paul Cardon, Sr., age 80 of Abita Springs, LA entered into eternal life on 
Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. 

Born, Sunday, March 01, 1936 in Gretna, LA to Lynn Willie Cardon and Amy 
Blanchard Cardon.

Survived by his Wife of 58 years - Elizabeth Deckbar Cardon, Sons - Leo Paul 
Cardon, Jr. (Gretchen), and William L. Cardon (Mary), Daughter - Stacey Cardon 
Baudouin (Kenneth), Sister - Rita Cardon Newby, 13 Grandchildren, 10 
GreatGrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his Father - Lynn Willie Cardon, Mother - Amy Blanchard 
Cardon, and Brother - Roy T. Cardon.

Leo loved life and was loved by all that knew him. He was a barber for many 
years, an active member of The First Class Friends of West Jefferson High 
School and enjoyed his years of dancing with the Westbank Jamaica Dance Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life at 1:00 
PM on Saturday, July 02, 2016 at Gretna Covenant Church, 101 11th St. Gretna, 
LA 70053.

Visitation on Saturday, July 02, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gretna 
Covenant Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Gretna Covenant Church, 101 
11th St. Gretna, LA 70053 or Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 S. Jefferson 
Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
