He was born in New Orleans on August 8, 1949. He lived in St. Bernard and Abita Springs, LA. Tony was the son of the late Anthony Culotta, Sr. and Dorothy Roig Culotta. He leaves behind the love of his life, Phyllis Giroir Culotta, after 42 years of marriage. Tony is survived by his three children, Nicky Culotta, his wife, Stacey Culotta, and Brandi Culotta. He was the proud grandfather of three beautiful granddaughters, Isabella, Gianna, and Nicolina. Tony was the brother of Antoinette Markey, and uncle of Jason Markey (Nataleigh). A graduate of Francis T. Nicholls High School in 1967, Tony enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He was a disabled veteran of the Viet Nam Era. After returning from Viet Nam, Tony began working in the Sheet Metal Local #11, now Local #214 of Baton Rouge. He worked for Holzer Sheet Metal and Joly’s Metal Works until early retirement September 1, 2006. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place after Mass at 2:30 PM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org. US Marines ===================
