Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2016/st1606.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Antoinette “Annie” Rose Rossignol, 11, of Mandeville, LA died on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans after being a warrior, battling a serious illness for the past four years. Annie was born on Thursday, May 05, 2005 in Metairie, LA to Scott Rossignol and Elizabeth Hayward Rossignol. She is survived by her parents, her brother Scott Rossignol Jr., maternal grandparents Kathleen and John Hayward, aunts and uncles John "L.J." Hayward, Earl Rossignol (Michelle), Kevin Rossignol (Darlene), Keith Rossignol (Christine), and Michael Rossignol. She is also survived by numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Earl and Yvonne Rossignol and her aunt Laurie Ann Rossignol. Annie was sassy, sweet, and full of life. A fighter like no other. She was an outstanding soccer player and enjoyed playing softball and basketball at Pelican Park. She loved to listen to music and dance. She enjoyed being around family, friends, and her dogs. Annie loved school and enjoyed learning. She will be forever missed but not forgotten. The family would like to thank all the friends and family who contributed so much to Annie's welfare during the past four years. Fund raisers, blood drives, marathons, visits, cards, letters and gifts and so much more. Our journey was certainly made a little easier by all your love and support. You did indeed divide our sorrows and double our joys with all your love and care. You made Annie feel very special and loved. The family would also like to thank the staff at St. Jude Hospital for their dedication over the course of Annie's journey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 10:30AM on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. A visitation will take place at 5:00 PM until 10:00PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home. Visitation will be held again on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:00 AM until service time at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Antoinette Rossignol at any Capital One Bank location. ===================
