Arthur J. Sevin Jr, A.K.A. Art Sir Van, 73, of Slidell, LA, was called to be 
with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 13, 2016, surrounded by his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Elodie F. Sevin, of twenty 
years. Elodie was his soulmate and the love of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother Alisteen Sevin Gary and Arthur J. Sevin 
Sr.

He was the loving father of Arthur J. Sevin III, Jennifer Rutherford (Adam), 
Joelle Satterlee (Tim), Joseph Pardo (Jennifer), Jeffrey Pardo (Amanda), Robin 
Simon (Craig), and Lorie Lingo (George); brother of Albert Gary, Otis Sevin, 
Tony Sevin; brother-in-law of Dianne Mulkey; beloved “Paw Paw” to Joseph, Alex, 
Reese, Remi, Reilly, Evan, Jenna, Seth, Adley, Kyle, Peyton, Benjamin, and 
Emma. 
He will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Arthur was a Veteran of the United States Army, the owner of Sevin Marine, and 
an inductee of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 
Westchester Blvd, Slidell, LA, on Friday, June 17, 2016, at 12:00 noon.

Friends may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 10:00am.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Moneka, Krystal, and 
Brad of Heart of Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
