Bertha Jenkins Sharp passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 80. 

Beloved wife of the late Berlin Douglas Sharp. 
Loving mother of Douglas Sharp (Becky), Latimore Sharp (Summer) and Horace 
Sharp (Saundra). 
Beloved daughter of the late Aner Barber Jenkins and John Abner Jenkins. She is 
survived by one sibling, Rebecca Jenkins Sharp; twelve grandchildren and 
twenty-two great-grandchildren. 

She is predeceased by one grandson, Lt. Douglas Wade Sharp and her other 
siblings.

Mrs. Sharp was a native and lifelong resident of Bush where she was a member of 
Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Rutter Rex Garment 
Plant, First National Bank and Southeast Louisiana Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, June 
10, 2016 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 
PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. 

Interment will follow in Sharp Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Sharp to be
